Selecting the Right Size
It is very important that your graduated compression hosiery fit properly. A proper, snug fit will ensure that you receive maximum therapeutic benefit from your hosiery.
Several factors are important to emphasize:
- Due to the therapeutic pressure exerted by graduated compression, your stockings may be somewhat more difficult to put on. This does not mean you have selected the wrong size. Once on, in a matter of moments your body adjusts to the soothing pressure, and you will find these stockings are as comfortable to wear as regular hosiery. Each pair of our hosiery is packaged with instructions on how to easily put on and care for your new stockings.
- All of our medical hosiery is guaranteed to retain proper compression for six months—when cared for properly. Care instructions are included with each pair.
Do not continue to wear your stockings if they have lost compression—record the date you begin wearing and discontinue use after 6 months if you wish to continue receiving proper medical benefit.
